The Tunnel - Documentary  

AS HIP-HOP ASCENDED FROM THE UNDERGROUND to the top of the charts in the 90’s THE TUNNEL nightclub, once a historic train terminal became the Mecca for rap music where artists came to break records, pop bottles and where anyone, who was anyone in hip-hop had to be. Everyone who craved hip- hop music met there. This docuseries tells the history of the Tunnel through the eyes of those who lived it. From one of the original architects DJ Funk Flex to the many partygoers, promoters and music industry heavyweights, we will highlight stories and notable moments. Highlighting classic performances from DIDDY, JAY Z, DR. DRE, SNOOP,  DMX, JUVENILE, OUTKAST, NAS, 50 CENT, REDMAN, METHOD MAN, RAEKWON, GHOSTFACE, THE LOX & many more.

Oscar was approached by Funk Flex and his production team to develop a teaser for the Tunnel documentary. He put together a treatment that displayed Funk Flex’s larger than life personality and journey. We then managed everything from pre production, principal photography and post production to packaging the proposal/deck. With the tools in hand Flex was able to close a deal and the Docuseries is in development at a major network.
