NORE “Oye Mi Canto”

Victor Santiago, better know as N.O.R.E. is a Rapper, Actor & Media Personality. He first rose to prominence as one half of the hip hop duo Capone-N-Noreaga (C-N-N). Santiago would later have success as a solo artist with his platinum debut album N.O.R.E and singles like "Superthug", "Banned from T.V.", "Nothin'", and "Oye Mi Canto" to name a few. He’s also starred in films like Paper Soldiers, Paid In Full and many other movies. Santiago Executive Produces & hosts his hit Podcast/Television show on Revolt TV “Drink Champs” with DJ EFN.

For the latter, N.O.R.E co-conspired with SUPER O whom he credits for consulting him on Daddy Yankee & the hit record Oye Mi Canto, suggesting the rapper tap the reggaeton artist who at the time was rising to fame with his major latin release “Gasolina.” Oye Mi Canto was the first of its kind not only crossing over the song but Reggaeton as a genre by playing on Urban, Rhythmic, Top 40 and Tropical radio simultaneously. The track was a super hit peaking at #12 on Billboard's Hot 100 Charts in 2004, opening the door for the genre and many more artists to come.
